Head of State Awards
Five of our Students started working for their Bronze Awards. The Awards are given by the Head of State Award Scheme Ghana, which is affiliated with the international Duke of Edinburgh Award. The students each learn a new skill, participate weekly in physical exercise, and do ‘Community service’ in the school by helping in catering and maintenance.
This is a partnership for inclusiveness and our students are among the first few young people with special needs in Ghana who participate. The Scheme supported The Epicentre with items needed for the activity."
Partnerships & collaborations
The School has partnered with MatildaFlow. An NGO that creates jobs opportunities for persons with disability, mothers/carers of children with disabilities and the vulnerable. They also advocate for persons with disabilities.
